About the Venue
The Apothecaries Hall is one of the oldest surviving Livery Halls in London, nestled in the historic streets behind St Paul’s Cathedral. Originally part of the Dominican Priory of the Black Friars, the hall was rebuilt in 1672 after the Great Fire of London and remains a testament to craftsmanship and heritage.
The hall serves as the headquarters of the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries of London, an institution with a storied history in medicine and education. Esteemed figures such as John Keats, Elizabeth Garrett Anderson, Sir Ronald Ross, and Agatha Christie have connections to the society, making this a fitting venue to host discussions on traditional and heritage building practices.

Terms and Conditions: Prices shown exclude VAT. Bookings for training and events will only be confirmed on receipt of full payment. Payment must be received at least 30 working days prior to the start date. The NFB is constantly updating and improving our training and events and reserves the right to alter any course content, itinerary or trainers without prior notice.
Cancellations: Event and training tickets are non-refundable. For fully funded events, you must notify us SEVEN days prior to the event if you cannot attend otherwise a cancellation charge of £50 may apply per person. The NFB shall make every effort to avoid the cancellation or rescheduling of an event. We reserve the right to cancel an event at any time and, should the need arise, shall endeavour to provide attendees notice in good time and refund or reallocate any payments made in respect of the event. The NFB cannot accept liability for expenses or any other losses relating to costs or time to the attendees or their company.
