The National Federation of Builders (NFB), in partnership with Interclass, CITB, and Genius Within, are running the first in a potential series of Neuroinclusive Construction Meetups. Alongside the newly-launched Neuroinclusive Construction Community Group on LinkedIn, this provides an inclusive space for anyone in the construction industry who wants to share experiences, learn from each other and champion neurodiversity.
Since our first workshop coincides with ADHD Awareness Month, we have focussed our first meetup around this topic.
The first 15 minutes of the meetup will feature a presentation from our partners at Genius Within, which will prompt wider discussion for among the group. The presentation shall outline different types of ADHD, the traits associated with it, and how workplaces can support their ADHD employees. We’re keen to draw on the rest of the group’s experiences for the majority of the meet!
