Established over 145 years ago, Bakers of Danbury are a privately owned Essex based heritage and new build building contractor with an excellent reputation for conservation, quality and craftsmanship. We work across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Suffolk, Kent and Hertfordshire as well as into East, North and Central London.

As well as specialising in the preservation and restoration of historical buildings, churches and ancient monuments, our scope of work also includes new build, education and modern refurbishment projects. We also have a specialist insurance repairs division that works with leading insurance companies, loss adjusters, engineers and policy holders.
