Founded in 1989, Ornate Interiors is a specialist plasterwork contractor combining traditional craftsmanship with technical expertise and creative skill. We deliver high-quality plasterwork solutions for heritage, commercial and high-end residential projects within historic and existing buildings across the UK.

Our services include but are not limited to fibrous plaster mouldings, bespoke plaster features, traditional lime plastering, the running of mouldings in situ, and detailed plasterwork surveys, including ceiling inspections, to support the conservation, restoration and repair of historic and period properties. Our highly trained team — many of whom have spent a lifetime in the industry at Ornate interiors, progressing into senior and supervisory roles over time. Their experience and leadership ensure that every project is delivered to the highest standard, reflecting the company’s long-standing reputation for successfully delivering complex and technically demanding work while respecting the fabric and character of each building.

Our people are central to our success. Through our apprenticeship programme, we actively invest in the next generation of craftsmen while preserving traditional techniques, with many former apprentices now forming a core part of our experienced team.

Supporting our site work is our on-site, purpose-built workshop, developed over the last three decades, where intricate bench-run mouldings and large feature ceilings are produced using techniques that have remained largely unchanged for centuries.
