Coleborn & Son Limited is a family run business originally formed as a Partnership in 1783 and becoming a limited company in 1998. We have grown our business and excellent reputation over the years specialising as a main contractor on small to medium refurbishment, alteration & maintenance projects in the South, primarily within the public and commercial sector.

We have vast experience working within occupied premises including colleges, schools, hospitals, care homes and prisons and have developed our working practices and ethics to accommodate the difficulties that can arise for both client and contractor on these types of projects.
Our aim to provide a quality service in a flexible, honest and cost efficient manner, delivered in a safe and professionally managed environment.
All works are personally monitored by our Managing Director Barry Thomas and we pride ourselves on our proven reliable & supervisory approach.
We employ all our tradesmen on a PAYE basis totalling 19, this includes 3 apprentices. Ideally we work to capacity and only bring in established & recommended sub-contractors & labour only contractors when demand is high.
We also operate on day work rates for clients, where speedy site start is required or where the client feels a formal contract is not necessary.
