The National Federation of Builders has held a constructive meeting with Chartered Institute of Building Chief Executive Victoria Hills to discuss a shared approach to some of the key challenges currently facing the construction sector, including skills, competence, professionalism and raising standards across the industry.
The meeting brought together Chief Executives from both organisations to explore areas of common interest for members and the role membership and professional bodies can play in supporting a more competent, skilled and sustainable construction industry.
Richard Beresford, Chief Executive of the National Federation of Builders, said:

Victoria Hills became Chief Executive of CIOB earlier this year and has spoken publicly about the importance of modern professionalism, skills development and improving standards across the built environment sector.
