Become an NFB Ambassador
Supporting Construction, Representing Members
The National Federation of Builders is proud to relaunch our Ambassadors Programme, a unique initiative designed to empower our members, strengthen regional representation, and provide direct influence on national NFB discussions.
Our programme brings together passionate individuals from across the construction industry, giving them the opportunity to lead in their region or specialise in key industry topics. These ambassadors will play a critical role in ensuring that the voice of every member is heard and that local industry concerns are represented at the highest level.
Why Join the NFB Ambassadors Programme?
As an NFB Ambassador, you’ll have the chance to:
- Influence Policy and Advocacy: Shape industry discussions by bringing regional and specialist insights to NFB leadership.
- Develop Your Network: Build strong connections within the construction industry through exclusive events and networking opportunities.
- Enhance Your Skills: Access professional development through mentorship, training, and early access to key NFB events.
- Be a Voice for Change: Represent your region or area of expertise, driving forward discussions on critical industry issues.
Programme Structure
Our Ambassadors Programme is organised around a regional structure:
- Regional Representatives: Focus on local industry matters, advocating for their region’s unique challenges and opportunities.
- Topic Specialists: Concentrate on specific subjects of interest, such as sustainability, digital innovation, or health and safety, providing in-depth insights on national discussions.
Both representatives in each region will join the Ambassadors Council, a body that collaborates to support the NFB’s work and drive forward key initiatives. The council will meet quarterly to coordinate efforts, share insights, and work together on regional and national projects.
How to Get Involved
The NFB Ambassadors Programme is open to members who are eager to make a difference in the construction industry. We’re looking for individuals who are passionate about representing their region or specialising in key industry topics.
